Motherboard & Logic Board Repair
Dead board, no power, no charge, or liquid damage? Board-level repair by micro-soldering — the fix most shops will not attempt. Call (207) 877-7780.
A motherboard is a repairable thing. Individual components fail, charging circuits burn out, and corrosion eats specific traces — and each of those can be traced and fixed under a microscope. We do that work here in Waterville on the same bench we use for console HDMI ports, and we take boards by mail from anywhere in the country.
Board-level faults we repair
No power / no boot
Device completely dead with no lights and no fan. We trace the power rails to find where it stops.
Charging circuit failure
Plugged in and nothing happens, or it only charges at a certain angle. Often the charge IC or a damaged port.
Liquid damage
Spills and water damage — cleaned, corroded traces repaired, and failed components replaced.
Charging port replacement
Lightning, USB-C and barrel jacks removed and replaced properly, not glued back into place.
No display from board
Backlight and display circuit faults where the screen itself is fine but the board is not driving it.
Console HDMI ports
PlayStation and Xbox HDMI port repair — flat $174.99, about a two-week turnaround.

If it got wet, read this first
Power the device off and leave it off. Do not plug it in to "see if it still charges" — putting current through a wet board is what turns a cleanable spill into corroded, unrepairable traces. Do not put it in rice; it does nothing useful and buys the corrosion time.
Get it to us, or in the mail to us, as fast as you reasonably can. Corrosion starts immediately and keeps going until the board is properly cleaned.
